Last night I stumbled upon this great book while digging through a basement full of long boxes, floor to ceiling.
The sketch and finished product of Swamp Thing have been published in a few different books. A couple of them being Vess art books.
Better than most, Vess is able to capture Swamp Thing as being ever-present. After Moore helped to flesh the character out and better define Swamp Thing’s abilities, Vess truly utilized Swampy’s abilities and attributes.
