I was playing around with the new DC Rebirth logo and thought I’d add the big, green guy. Looks pretty cool. The Swamp Thing illustration is from Injustice… Year 3 by Redondo and Albarra
I’m looking forward to Swamp Thing’s appearance in the new Hellblazer book. Justin Norman draws an awesome Swampy.
From DCcomics.com
“John Constantine’s lost weekend in New York City was fun, but London’s where his heart is—only a pissed-off demon and a curse on his soul stand in his way. Even Constantine’s questionable ethics are pushed to the limit when he puts eight million souls on the line to get what he wants…”
From Previews World
“The Poison Truth” part one! London may have recovered from Constantine’s return, but he hasn’t. Mercury hasn’t forgiven him, but she won’t leave him alone, and Swamp Thing is calling in a favor. And all the while, bigger things are brewing…
…book by its cover and all that, it looks great so far. I enjoy how dark and cinematic the artwork feels. They look as if they would do well if animated. Justin Norman (AKA Moritat) is handling the artwork while Simon Oliver writes. With DC in the re-imagining and rebuilding process, it’ll be interesting to see if there are any adjustments within the creative team before the book comes out.
Hellblazer is available July 20, 2016
what has me excited is that lady looks like Abby with her long hair! during my read-through, some of the best moments came when her and John interacted. whether it was the two of them sniping or sharing a drink, it was always riveting and often hilarious. remember the spider-infested little island in the middle of the swamp she stranded him on that one time. classic!
