The Buyer’s Guide for Comic Fandom 326 (1980)

I’ve never seen Swamp Thing this excited about a comic. He appears to be bubbling with joy in this issue of the Buyer’s Guide.

I stumbled upon this issue while perusing mycomicshop.com and had to pick it up. I’ve been trying to get a hold of all the CBG and Buyer’s Guides that feature Swamp Thing on the cover… and inside. The cover depicts Man-Thing battling Swamp Thing. It’s not the first time we’ve seen these two muck-monsters duking it out on the pages of the Buyer’s Guide.

An artist by the name of Crum illustrated the cover.

This ad for the Knoxville Comics Convention was a great surprise. Swamp Thing appears to be reading issue 2 of his first series and he sure is getting into it.
